To go with this tutorial I have added one of the resources: a comparison summary or short essay task with key ideas about the European Heatwave 2003 and Myanmar cyclone Nargis 2008. Can be altered accordingly for different weather case studies.

5 short questions to review learning about urban waste - took my students 10 minutes

These outlines are designed to be used with the tutorial/powerpoint resource I uploaded called 'sustainable food lesson'. The lunchtime outline is used for the kids to draw what they will/did eat at lunch and start discussing where their food came from. The food images are used for them to write a pledge about how they/their parents can be more sustainable with food.

With a little help from the Mighty Boosh video linked to the first image as a 'guess the ecosystem' starter. Add your own tasks/ resources :)

This is just a list of links to supplement learning as a V/A resource or as a pointer for students to watch online during school holidays - maybe even for cover lessons. Make sure the students use it with their case study outlines or at the very least, make a list of bullet points with useful stats and facts for the 9 mar questions.

A short assessment that could be completed in 40 minutes for KS3 students. Includes questions on erosion, deposition, landforms and defences. Aimed at mixed ability classes - most pupils should be able to complete most of the sheet, with a couple of mildly challenging questions at the end. Now with assessment grid.
