An Introduction to French Accents
An introduction to French accents for younger children . Possibly useful for year 3 children. Focuses on the names of the 5 accents, which letters they are found on and how to write them. There are examples of some common words which have accents. Also included is a grid to fill to practise writing a selection of letters with a range of accents. Follow on worksheets gives sentences with missing accents for the children to find. There is an exercise to replace 17 missing accents with simple vocabulary. French School Subjects - board game
Snakes and ladder game to reinforce school subjects/days of the week/time and the phrase ‘J’étudie…’. More able students could also give opinions on the subjects which they land on. Rules for playing the game differ slightly to those of regular snakes and ladders. Back onto card and laminate to make the game more durable. I have also added a 2nd game. The idea with this one is to use the expressions: I like/love/hate/don’t like. 2ticks=I love, 1tick=I like, 2crosses=I hate and 1 cross=I don’t like. Feedback is always very welcome.

FRENCH Adjectives - Les Adjectifs - b.a.n.g.s. Worksheets
An introduction and fun way to learn and practise how to use adjectives in French. I have focused on those adjectives whose qualities they describe can de summerized by the acronyn B.A.N.G.S. and are adjectives that PRECEDE the noun. B.A.N.G.S. stand for B - Beauty, A - Age, N - Number, G - goodness, S - Size. Includes:
