French: Animals - matching pairs game

Frosty avec son ami Père Noël
A basic colouring activity with instructions to follow. Revises Christmas vocabulary and agreement of nouns and colour. Not too demanding, so should apeal to a wide range of ages. Have fun and enjoy. Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année a tous. Any feedback would be most apprecaited.
Les cartes de Joyeuses Pâques
A selection of Easter cards to colour. I have made them so they can be simply printed on card and folded in half. Alternatively print on white paper and glue onto coloured card. For more able children, instructions could be given as to what colours to use to colour in the pictures. To say 'love from' the French say 'grosses bises' or 'bons baisers'. Joyeuses Pâques à tous. Simple worksheet of classroom items. Object is for children to name the items with the correct gender, then write the name of the item with un ..., or une... in the correct column. Feedback as to how successful this worksheet was, would be much appreciated.

Les Négatifs
A simple graduated fill-in activity to the introduction of the phrase 'I have ....&' and &';I don't have ....&' . Uses everyday objects. Some boxes have been left blank for the children to draw their own pictures. I have added a more challenging worksheet for the more able students. This acts as a revision for naming objects they already know and using a dictionary to find the words of objects that they do not know.

A fun and simple comprehension to cover lunch and dinner vocabulary in French. Find out what Benjamin loves doing. Read about his passion for food. Find out what his favourite sandwich is, why he eats 'les chips&', and what his favourite fruits are. Also discover what he says about &';les frites'. Les vacances à Paris
A scene in Paris showing children having their photo taken by the Eiffel Tower. Aim of the excercise to is get children 'talking&'. Their L/O is to see how many sentences they can find which describes something in the picture. I have given some examples but the possibilities are endless. ~Revises: prepositions/il y a/verbs/age/name/clothes/weather. Ideal for partner work. Feedback is always most welcome.

An introduction to learning colours in French. This resource is aimed at very young children. However it could be modified for slightly older children. French Christmas Sentence Builders
This is a very engaging & fun activity that revises Christmas vocab. verbs, question words, opinions é the weather. Students are given the the muddled sentences. (The unscrambled sentences is a teacher copy.) Students cut out the words é unscramble them to form a sentence that makes sense. They stick the sentence onto the worksheet and underneath translate the sentence into English. Those students who are able, can answer those sentences which are questions. In French, bien sûr. Came across this video on youtube which I just had to share. The song, about colours, is so catchy the students will learn it in no time at all and they should have fun singing it too. Feedback is always welcome.

A fun way for young children to learn about the Christmas story in French. With practise they may even be able to read the words and tell the story. Instructions can be given of how to colour each picture. Simple words describe each picture. Also includes other vocabulary associated with the Christmas season. SPANISH - FELIZ NAVIDAD - CHRISTMAS - Colour by numbers
A selection of Christmas colour by numbers worksheets. A fun way to practise the names of colours in Spanish and recap number names… Helps also with word recognition. Also useful for early finishers. I have included the colours: azul claro/azul oscuro and verde claro/verde oscuro. There is also a Christmas Tree decorated with familiar objects to colour.
