Les Négatifs
A simple graduated fill-in activity to the introduction of the phrase 'I have ....&' and &';I don't have ....&' . Uses everyday objects. Some boxes have been left blank for the children to draw their own pictures. I have added a more challenging worksheet for the more able students. This acts as a revision for naming objects they already know and using a dictionary to find the words of objects that they do not know.

Les vacances à Paris
A scene in Paris showing children having their photo taken by the Eiffel Tower. Aim of the excercise to is get children 'talking&'. Their L/O is to see how many sentences they can find which describes something in the picture. I have given some examples but the possibilities are endless. ~Revises: prepositions/il y a/verbs/age/name/clothes/weather. Ideal for partner work. Feedback is always most welcome.
Days, months, years & seasons
Worksheet to fill-in the days of the week, months of the year and the seasons. Incorporates concept of there are (il y a) ___ days in a week, there are ___ months in a year, there are ____ seasons in a year, thus a re-cap on number work. More of a revision worksheet as no vocab given. Feedback as to how successful this worksheet was, would be much appreciated.
Les Couleurs Activities
An introduction to learning colours in French. This resource is aimed at very young children. However it could be modified for slightly older children. French Christmas Sentence Builders
This is a very engaging & fun activity that revises Christmas vocab. verbs, question words, opinions é the weather. Students are given the the muddled sentences. (The unscrambled sentences is a teacher copy.) Students cut out the words é unscramble them to form a sentence that makes sense. They stick the sentence onto the worksheet and underneath translate the sentence into English. Those students who are able, can answer those sentences which are questions. In French, bien sûr. SPANISH - MI CIUDAD - MY TOWN
A selection of worksheets to introduce names of buildings and places that you may find in a town. I have made separate worksheets -mas. and fem. I find this to be a visual help to my students when they progress to writing a comprehension piece on the subject of ‘my town’ from memory. A follow on exercise covers how to say what there is and isn’t in your town. There is also a translation exercise.

FRENCH - FOOD - WHAT DO RABBITS LIKE EATING
A fun activity for young children to learn some basic food items and the days of the week in French. Also practices the expressions ‘don’t like’ and ‘love’. The story is about ‘un lapin’, On Monday he eats a cake, but rabbits don’t like cakes. On Tuesday he eats a lemon, but rabbits don’t like lemons. Finally on Sunday he eats a carrot, rabbits LOVE carrots. Children should be able to join in and retell the story with lots of practice.
