Hi welcome to my shop! I'm currently Head of Humanities, but I've also been head of department at a number of other schools, not to mention head of year. So I have a lot of high quality resources to share. I take real pride in trying to ensure my resources are well presented, clear, easy to use and of course challenging and engaging for the students. They have taken me a lot of time to make, but hopefully they will save you a lot of time. If you have any feedback then please review me!

This is a KS3 geography lesson designed to introduce the basic concepts of geography to students. This lesson is focused on making connections between the world on different scales. A good lesson that enables the students to think about how the world intereacts on a local, national and international scale. The students will learn how to see connects between the local, national and international. A really good lesson.

This is a series of revision techniques designed to prepare students for the end of unit assessment on Fantastic Places (also available in my shop). This can be uses as is, or can be adapted to suit a number of other lessons or even other subjects. A superb and versatile resource. This will provide the students with lots of hints and tips as to how to personalise revision to themselves individually. A useful resource for any year group in any subject.

This resource is designed to be used with the Fantastic places SoW (in my shop), but it can be adapted to other SoW or to other fantastic places! As the students work through the unit they complete the passport to sum up what they have learned and add the information to the booklet. The passport also contains seven h/w tasks to be used throughout the unit.

Hampi - Welcome to Fantastic Places

This can be used as a stand alone lesson or as the introductory lesson in the Fantastic places SoW. It looks at the amazing India city of Hampi and launches an investigation as to why the city is surrounded by boulders. The students will investigate two ideas: Science and Religion and will need to explain why they believe one over the other. They will also be encouraged to create their own original explanation. A fun lesson with lots to do.
