This assembly is based on this year’s theme- reclaiming the Narrative as well as highlighting how easily false narratives have spread. Examines the role of racial bias in the media and politics in the UK and the riots of 2024 as well as the insideous nature of the anti-Haitian rhetoric from some in the USA. Idea is to promote awareness of the danger of misinformation and to encourage students to challenge one sided narratives especially if they are hateful. Includes a house competition which can be amended for your school and a script for the assembly if you need it. Images are for illustrative purposes only. A huge bundle of example answers for ALevel Russia 1894-1941 - OCR ALevel course but can be adapted for any exam board. OCR uses 20 mark “How far do you agree?” style open essays and 10 mark shorter questions in which students must only compare 2 factors as a more important cause or consequence of something. These answers are all A-A* grade responses.
