Students have to correctly identify the initial sound of each picture, then find the question number on the colouring sheet and colour the shape accordingly. Great for a structured adult activity as part of your phonics carousel, an independent activity to add to your phonics continuous provision or a recap activity for older students requiring an intervention. A set of phonics Phase 2 self-checking CVC activity cards, covering all middle vowel sounds: /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, /u/. These cards are ideal to use with Phonix Cubes, or if printed and laminated, they can be used with a whiteboard pen to write on/wipe off. A superb addition to your phonics carousel to use with an adult or independently in your phonics continuous provision area. Additionally, they can be used as part of an intervention with older students. Both students and adults can check answers by reversing the cards; this builds confidence and motivation. Differentiated colour by number activity to support understanding of EURHBFL initial sounds. Students have to correctly identify the initial sound of each picture, then find the question number on the colouring sheet and colour the shape accordingly. Great for a structured adult activity as part of your phonics carousel, an independent activity to add to your phonics continuous provision or a recap activity for older students requiring an intervention. What’s Included: 3 levels ranging from more challenging to least challenging Corresponding colour sheet to match each levelled activity sheet Answer key for each level Images from: Widgit Online Font used: OpenDyslexic Printing Instructions: Most challenging level from page 1-3, middle challenge level from page 4-6, least challenging level from page 7-9. For each level, print the first two pages, i.e. pages 1 & 2 / 4 & 5 / 7 & 8. Save printer ink by printing one copy of each answer key on pages 3, 6, 9 or displaying the images on your interactive whiteboard. Please note, this resource was created A4 in size, therefore if buying outside of the UK, ensure you change the printer settings for your region. A set of simple printable rounding rollercoaster visuals to support understanding of rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. They can be printed and laminated or printed and placed in reusable wipeable pockets. Additionally, they can also be displayed and annotated on the IWB. Pupils write their given number in the rollercoaster car, the 10s/100s/1000s numbers in each tunnel that number sits between and complete the sentence stem. Colour and black and white versions.
