I am a teacher with many years experience, judged outstanding and I have decided to take some of my resources which I've shared to over half a million downloaders freely to my shop. I want to share and enjoy more time with my dogs in Cornwall. Thank you for buying and helping me live my dream - one pasty at a time :)

Looking at and interpreting evidence (guess the teacher from artefacts shown in the pictures on the notebook - fairly non-personalised so you could use as yourself to save time or adapt the notebook)
KWL activity to discover pupil interests and base knowledge
Jigsaw vases with follow up looking at the pictures to find out a bit about Ancient Greece from artefacts. This series of lesson plans was taken by a Lead Inspector for OFSTED/National Leader of Education and Executive Head for his own schools and training. He said they were exemplary examples of high expectations, carefully planned and differentiated lessons which engaged pupils fully.

The note book includes information about ‘What did AG wear?’ ‘What do we know about AG jewlerry?’ What was popular hairstyles in AG?’ etc.

Feedback welcome and I will update the resources annually to ensure still current.
Looking at famous buildings from around the world, the pupils are hooked into learning about architecture. A letter arrives from the original designer of the Parthenon / Acropolis and explains the process of Greek temple design.
Pupils are led through a notebook file of how to research, design and make their own temple and later write replies to Ictarus with their evaluations.
An outstanding lesson with images, the letter from the designer, links to good videos etc - all you need (except Greek non fiction books or photocopies of relevant pages from books about temples) to teach background knowledge, engage pupils and teach literacy skills .
Includes a notebook file for projecting and leading pupils through the lesson.

Perfect for those of you who don't have time and hate laminating cards. I spent my time designing these so I can just walk in to cover classes at a moments notice so would be perfect for supply or cover teachers or TAs. The other weeks are also available.
Though this is a week really it took me over 2 weeks with Y2 as it is so rich. You can skip through if your pupils learn quickly. Each presentation has over 20 pages and I have included jpegs for you to see them.
You only need white boards and pens for these lessons.
Happy Sunday Fellow Teachers :)
