Hazard warning signs drag & drop-interactive lab safety

Match the hazard warning sign to its description. If correct it sticks. Open the html file by double clicking, et voila. A preview of this activity can be seen on my web site. Please note: in order to provide a rich interactive experience, my drag & drop resources are mini-web sites local to your computer. After unzipping, they comprise a folder containing the main .html file and another folder containing the graphic resources and my coding to make the resource work. Double click on the .html file and the resource will work. If, however , you move or delete any of the files from this hierarchy, the resource will not work.

The disappearing cross experiment simulation

I have made a simulation of this experiment at four different temperatures. Double click on the “disappearing cross copy.html” file and there it is in your web browser. Students time the cross disappearing, after someone presses the button and shouts go. Saves a nasty experiment with hot solutions and sulfur dioxide. Use over and over again. You can make it huge by using the browser zoom controls. A preview is available on my web site. I made a tiny little widget thingummy. Press the button and watch the movement of myosin filaments during contraction or relaxation. Just for fun. Genetic code table & wheel

I stole this wheel from wikipedia (NB the author grants anyone the right to use this work for any purpose, without any conditions), so I put it onto a display that may be useful to someone. I made the table myself.

Water circuit analogy

In the past I have used a physical water circuit to explain to groups concepts such as potential difference and current. I wanted my own diagram of this, so produced this. Someone, somewhere might find it of use.
