<p>This is a game created for my year 12 class, which is quite small.<br /> For example, lets say you have 6 students<br /> Students are given a number 1, 2 or 3<br /> They all close their eyes and in turn teacher calls out numbers randomly. They open their eyes when their number is called and either remember their word, or jot it down.<br /> Eventually, teacher shouts “abre los ojos” and they start to get all their words down onto a mini wipe board. The aim is, the winners will be the team that have the correct Spanish sentence on their board first. After a coule of minutes, an “unstuck” can be shown (part of the translation in English)</p>

<p>Card game, similar to “cheat”<br /> Aim is for students to get rid of cards as quickly as possible<br /> 2-4 players<br /> Can be used with variety of topics<br /> Cards given out face down<br /> Cheat cards are the cards that say “Estás haciendo trampa”<br /> If students have a trampa card, they have to make up a sentence on the spot without getting caught.<br /> If the other players suspect they are cheating, they shout trampa<br /> If they are right - the player caught out has to pick up the cards in the pile in the middle<br /> If they are not cheating - the person who wrongly accused them has to pick up the cards<br /> When students dont have a trampa card = they just read out the normal sentence on the card</p>

<p>Recap quizzing game practising name, greetings, ages, family members</p> <p>Quiz quiz trade - Pupils need to stand up and move around the room<br /> Pupils start off with 1 sheet each. They do not show their partner, they are encouraged to praise their partner if they get the answer right, or they coach their partner to help them achieve the correct answer.<br /> Then, the opposite (person who asked the questions first then gets quizzed)<br /> Pupils then swap their sheets, put up their hand and find someone else to repeat the activity with.<br /> Must remember at the end of each conversation to swap papers, so they are constantly being asked different questions/asking different questions</p>

<p>A whole lesson based on introduction to perfect tense<br /> Ideally aimed at AS level students<br /> Starter - recapping regular and irregular verbs in variety of tenses<br /> For the listening section - we have some coloured recorder pods in school and I recorded myself and places these around the room for students to listen individually. This could perhaps be adapted with QR codes etc, giving students access to your recordings and as per AS/A level listening paper, practise to access the listenings independently and listen as many times as they like.</p>

<p><strong>Two different activities here</strong></p> <p>Washing line<br /> Equipment needed:<br /> String, pegs, at least two copies of this resource printed onto coloured card or paper</p> <p>Depending on size of class, split into at least two teams<br /> Do not print slide 4, this is just the answer<br /> Each card needs to be printed, chopped and sorted.<br /> Teacher reads out the sentence in English, giving unstuck clues where necessary</p> <p>Winner, is the team with the sentence pegged onto the washing line correctly</p> <p>TIP: I ask students to peg the cards on the bottom, so they do not cover up any of the words</p>
