A ppt which will help you compliment the to teach the topic of a special birthday from the Viva 3 rojo textbook. The preterite tense is very quickly recapped here and there is an activity to put the 3 tenses in practice. A few vocab items are introduced with the game que falta, but using the textbook would be ideal to introduce them all. Listening activities are ready with answers; also manipulated to make them most of them and include variety. This resource covers unit 5.1 from the Stimmt 1 textbook ‘In der Stadt’, dealing with places in town (es gibt) and negatives (keinen/keine/kein). 50 slides with vocabulary and exercises following closely pages 98 and 99 from the textbook and including additions and variations to it. It includes a consolidation 36-card fun card game to play in pairs or small groups (all instructions in the notes pane). A worksheet on LGBT topic that I created based on the AQA A-level Spanish textbook, Unit 3 La Igualdad de los Sexos (3.3 los derechos de los gays y las personas transgenero) but which can be adapted to any textbook. It contains a video and a few follow-up activities, grammar gapfills, vocabulary activities and questions to talk about.

This resource includes a 136-slide ppt presentation I prepared to teach the new Edexcel International GCSE 9-1 for my Year 4 (10) group. As the textbook isn’t great, I created many extra resources to combine with working on the textbook. That includes introduction of new tenses, among others. What’s included: resources for Unit 2: Self, family and friends - at home and abroad, which at the same time includes activities for section: 2B Daily routine and helping at home --> subsections 2B.1 to 2B.3 are all included. A very complete lesson based on the Mira 2 textbook, unit 1.2 “Mis amigos”, containing a range of different activities to do with your class, not only following the textbook, but offering a range of complimentary activities and extra vocabulary to stretch the most able. It also brings 6 different vocabulary tests.

This ppt includes a range of varied activities created to support Mira 3 Rojo textbook in the topic of music. The activities were also designed to compliment it with extra stuff to stretch the most able. This resource also contains vocabulary tests, versions A and B to stop kdis from cheating from each other, and a preterite tense bingo. In this topic I introduce the preterite tense, so there’s a lot on it, too (formation, time indicators, activities to practise, links to music videos to help auditory learners, etc). Many tasks are made to challenge students of high ability. The notes pane might explain certain tasks, check it out.

It includes a range of different activities to do in the classroom, vocabulary tests, a board game and a range of grammar worksheets to support the teaching of this textbook. This 60-slide bundle includes resources for El Patrimonio Cultural module > Sitios historicos y civilizaciones prehispanicas (6.1) AND Arte y arquitectura (6.2) but not for El patrimonio musical (6.3). Activities that accompany the textbook and made up to offer extra materials to what the textbook offers. Look at the notes at the bottom of each slide for answers, links and instructions. This bundle includes the introduction of the perfect subjunctive with a bunch of activities to go with it. Ideal if you have recently taught the present subjunctive and want to take it further.

Ppt presentation I created to collate some fun tried and tested activities to teach the perfect tense to KS4 students. It can be easily adapted to any ability group due to the nature of the activities. It provides an explanation of what it is (uses), time indicators, formation (endings) and main irregular forms. It then includes 4 different activities: a basic sentence translation activity, a never have I ever task to get your students standing up and down depending on whether they’ve done a number of things (18 in total), a differentiated die activity to do in pairs to conjugate verbs in the perfect tense or take it a bit further and ask each other questions based on the given verbs, and finally a list of 26 things students might have or might have not done before they finish school, to practise “ya” and “aun no”.
