Gambling, loot boxes and online gaming. What is gambling and how are children exposed to financial risks in online games? A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson allows students to find out what gambling is and why taking a risk with our money can be dangerous. This is an introduction to the concept of gambling for students who may not have come across it before and explores online-gaming, scratchcards and other elements of risk. It explores the negative emotions associated with gambling and begins to introduce the concept of addiction too.

This detailed 17 page PSHE / RSE workbook has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on consent, boundaries and unwanted / inappropriate contact. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. 1 hour - 90 min, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS5 (could be used with high-abiity KS4) all about cancel culture online-shaming, call-out culture and ‘cancelling.’ The lesson examines high profile cases, such as that of JK Rowling and her gender-critical comments. Students will investigate whether call-out culture helps achieve social justice can lead to a society with better morals, or whether it is at best unconstructive and at worst, toxic.

90 min - 2 hour, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3 all about the role of male and female genitalia in the different stages of sexual reproduction. A one hour - 90 min long lesson suitable for KS2 (or a low ability Year 7 group), all about the meaning of body image and what makes some people have a negative or positive body image. It is well differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, contains a variety of activities, an hour long PowerPoint, a clip with questions, a literacy focus task, new key-term introductions, reading aloud materials and creative tasks.
The lesson also encourages students to reflect on how the media and celebrities themselves edit their images before sharing them publicly and how we can help others to feel more body-positive. It is fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.

Pancake Day / Shrove Tuesday resource pack - suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3. The pack includes a PowerPoint full of information as well as a quiz, a differentiated clip task, a creative activity (the frying pan of knowledge) and measurable LOs. It is designed to last an hour (perhaps would last over) and everything is editable, well-differentiated and all information included, so you can just pick it up and go.

A detailed and well differentiated lesson for Edexcel Citizenship GCSE 9-1 - ‘Living together in the UK’ (Theme A). This lesson focuses on the different rights British citizens are entitled to, the history of human rights and the responsibilities that go with them. It includes exam practice questions and homework too.
The lesson includes a detailed, 1 hour PowerPoint, information and source sheets, differentiated activity worksheets, differentiated challenge activities and clips tasks and information sheets for students to stick in their books. A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month (Feb 2019). This is the sixth of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I).
The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use.
