New AQA AS Biology - 7 Digestion & Absorption w sheets and 2 ELISA worksheets

(1)
These 9 worksheets are made for revision, starters, plenary or home works. I have used them as class activities where an able student helps the understanding of a struggling student. They work well and are good for revision cards in students notes. Can be used as A4 or A3. There are 7 worksheets for digestion and absorption, covering key scientific ideas. There are 2 ELISA sheets which can be used apart or together.

GCSE AQA Physics - Ultrasound, magnets, electromagnets, light & sound w/sheets (13 w/sheets)

GCSE AQA Physics - Ultrasound, magnets, electromagnets, light & sound w/sheets (13 w/sheets)

(0)
The ultrasound 7 w/sheets cover what ultrasounds are, how they work, examples of uses in medicine (kidney stones/ foetal checks), how to work out distance between boundaries (using example questions), differences between x-ray, CT scans and ultrasounds. It finishes with 10 questions for the students to consolidate what they have learned. Made these sheets specifically for revision with higher tier students (turned into a little A5 revision booklet). You could set it as a home work booklet. I also used the sheets with lower ability/ struggling students to help consolidate the main scientific information they need. They liked the sheets because they were easy to understand and easy to access the scientific material. Magnets and electromagnets (2 sheets) - nice mind map on magnets and a quick fill in sheet after they have completed the work. Great for class activity as a starter, plenary, home work, or as a revision card. Even used with top set KS3 who loved it. Light and sound help w/sheets to help consolidate information from lessons. GCSE Biology - Date Line For Photosynthesis Equation.

GCSE Biology handout. This is a hand out sheet explaining the 3 main scientists involved in helping to explain the photosynthesis equation we have today and the time line involved. It is part of a set of resources produced to aid my "Premier Listed" power point called Plant Structure and photosynthesis which covers all parts of the specification. Please check out my other resources. Thank you for taking the time to look at my resource and I hope you find it beneficial. Please feel free to leave feedback and to 'follow me' so as not to miss out on future helpful resources.
GCSE Biology - Endangered species (SEN / Foundation)

GCSE Biology - Endangered species (SEN / Foundation)

(0)
A map and information about endangered species. Students have to make a poster showing all the endangered animals on the map. I had to bring up a map of the world whilst doing this activity as many are unaware where most places are. My SEN group worked really well in groups, discussing, working as a team, and producing a nice resource which can be put up showing students work, and also they get to understand about endangered species. I then set them a homework to chose one animal and tell me why it is endangered. Keywords can be put on the board to help.

GCSE AQA Biology - Penicillin, Digitalis, Aspirin discoveries ppt and 3 w/sheets

(2)
This power point contains the key information about the discovery and uses of penicillin, digitalis and aspirin. The worksheets attached can be used alongside the power point and are good for low ability / SEN students. The power point cards can be printed out and given to more able students to make a sheet about these 3 medicines, or can just be used for revision, starters or plenary activities. Helpful with the new (as yet still a working progress) New Yr 9 spec for AQA. Hope you like them and find them useful, if so please leave feedback.

Suitable for KS3 and GCSE (SEN) students. These sheets were made specifically for my KS3 students but have worked really well with SEN and GCSE Foundation students. They are colourful, easy to read and easy to fill in. All can be used as starters, plenaries, home works or even as a class test.

KS3 Chemistry / GCSE SEN/Foundation) - The Burning Triangle Worksheet & Test

(2)
This resource contains 2 popular sheets I use with my KS3 students to teach them about the "Burning triangle". The second sheet can be used as a homework, extension, revision or as a class test. I also used it with my SEN class and GCSE Foundation students who found they could access the material because it is colourful, easy to read, and some fill in the gaps gives differentiation.
