This is a resource I have created to introduce the topic of drugs to my A level Spanish students. In this booklet they will learn some of the basic terminology and expressions related to the topic. The booklet also includes a little bit of reading and preparation for a class debate. I hope it helps!

This is a resource I have created for my Yr13 students of Spanish (new spec 2016). In this resource you will find information about: *The end of the civil war *The outcomes of the civil war *Supporters of the Franco regime *The institutionalization of the regime *Exile, repression and opposition *An autarchic economy *The woman and the social environment during the Franco regime This document also includes ten exercises to go with all of this information (finding synonyms, finding the Spanish of some terms, answering questions in Spanish and translation to Spanish among them). Answers are included.

This is a lesson I have created for module 4, unit 5 (Modelos a seguir). We use Edexcel in my school but I am sure it can be useful for AQA or easily adapted. This lesson includes: A starter task Retrieval practice (reflection on previous vocab from the module, since this is the last unit) A variety of activities (vocab, translation, reading, etc). This is a booklet I have made for my students to prepare for the third task of the speaking exam. This first theme has 2 different subtopics (1. Town, region and country and 2. Holidays, travel and tourist transactions). For each of the different topics I have included 9 questions. This resource also includes all questions in flashcards so that the students can transfer their answers to them (once they are happy with them) and revise. The booklet also includes and overview of all the topics and the AVOCADO idea for students to know what their answers should include: A - Adjectives V - Verbs and tenses O - Opinions C - Connectives A - Adverbs D - Detail O - Originality The resource is also editable and each booklet is included in PPT as well as PDF.

This lesson was created for a Year 9 group, set 2. The format is done in Power Point so it is completely editable. The focus is on the differences between ser and estar. Students will be introduced to some of the rules that we need to follow in order to choose one verb or the other. Includes six exercises plus lots of extension work to challenge those that are more able. Answers embedded in PPT. There is also a link to a Kahoot at the end.

In this lesson students learn about: Talking about injuries and illnesses Talking to a doctor The lesson includes a vocab sheet, a starter task and a variety of activities (listening, translation, vocab activities, etc). All answers included and embedded in PPT. I teach a mixed-low ability group, therefore the activities are simple and easy to follow. This lesson could also be used as cover. *Please note that I am not a French native speaker and my knowledge of French is intermediate.
