Reading Challenge Lesson 7 These are a series of lessons and pps that were designed to support the delivery of the Dfes unit of work on Reading Skills. There are 12 lessons altogether and i have uploaded them all as separate entities as each can be used as a standalone lesson or you can use all 12. The lessons explore different reading skills and they are aimed at year 7 readers - level 4.

This is a full lesson powerpoint that is ready to teach on the novel Stone Cold. I have uploaded several other lessons that you could use in conjunction with it, but all are good to teach by themselves. This particular lesson has links to viewing the BBC version and pupils fill in the attached sheet whilst they watch.

Target Setting Lessons to Boost Pupils from 3 to 4: These lessons are part of a project that is challenged with boosting pupils from level 3c to 4c. Each week starts with a new focus on literacy, numeracy, kagan techniques and a personal target. Pupils need a target book to work with and this less More…on is delivered at the begining of every week. Targets are then tracked through all of their lessons for the week to chart their progress. Apprentice Scheme - Analytical Writing - lesson 1 This is one of a series of 6 lessons that are modelled on the Junior Apprentice. Pupils are encouraged to invent their own Ice Cream Product and launch it . They write a pitch for their product which can be assessed - either against FS level 2 criteria in English or NC APP levels. There are 6 lessons altogether - all uploaded separately and then the resources are uploaded as a separate upload together.
