This resource includes four GCSE 9-1 revision foldables requiring pupils to recognise and name, or sketch, the basic functions of straight lines, quadratics, cubics, reciprocal, exponentials and circles.
Foldables can be used as a revision or summary activity at the end of a topic. As the answers are hidden pupils can use these to ‘test’ themselves or ask someone else, such as a parent, to test them.
Don’t forget to check out the foldables bundle.

It now includes one set in the traditional fan and pick style (i.e. answer on the question cards) and a second version of the question cards with the answer removed. Therefore giving more flexibility for how you might use them with your students. You will also find two versions, the first with all money questions in GBP (£) and the second with all money questions in USD ($). Previous buyers, please re-download to access new content.
Fan and Pick promotes cooperative learning, creating situations for discussions around finding the correct answer and not just what the answer is. They can be used as a plenary activity to determine what learning has taken place, used to determine pupils prior knowledge to a topic and of course great for revision.
This Fan and Pick has a set of 12 question cards, each card has three questions differentiated by hotness and covers rounding finding percentages of amounts.
If you’ve enjoyed this resource you should check out the Fan and Pick Bundle! Please note this resource is also available as part of that bundle.

The Learning Grid activity helps to link in literacy by encouraging pupils to communicate and articulate their knowledge by connecting two different elements of a topic. Each learning grid comes complete with instructions on how to use and ideas for support and stretch.
This learning grid requires pupils to either state the given properties of the 2D shape connecting the two coordinate grids, or to define the property of 2D shapes. This resource is available as part of the Learning Grid Bundle, check it out.

Prompt sheets can be used at the start of a new topic to establish pupils’ prior knowledge, alternatively they are an excellent way of starting revision.
Pupils use the given vocabulary as a prompt to start to annotate the pictures. In this prompt sheet pupils are labelling 2D shapes with their properties such as parallel sides.

Prompt sheets are designed to establish pupils’ prior knowledge or as a review/revision exercise at the end of the topic. Pupils should use the vocabulary bank provided to annotate each picture/diagram with as much information as they can recall.
This prompt sheet covers the topic of Transformation of Graphs. Full example of what the annotations might look like are provided.

Heat Maps can be displayed or printed for each pair of pupils. Each heat map increases in difficulty indicated by the hotness, the redder/hotter the more difficult the question. Pupils choose a cell to start at and perform the given operation with the corresponding element of the question from the x and y axis.
This heat map requires pupils to solve the corresponding equations; one linear with one quadratic. This resource is also available as part of the Heat Map Bundle, check it out!

Test your students’ ability to spot mistakes and develop their understanding with this activity. Pupils are given two different answers to a question and have to determine which is correct. They then have to explain what misconception has led to the incorrect answer.
Pupils are asked to assess the comparisons made between two data sets and decide which is the best comparison and why. Full instructions, ideas for extension, and a solution are provided in the resource - what more could you need?

Mysteries are a thinking skills activity, they promote collaboration and independence from the teacher. They are perfect to use at the end of a topic, requiring pupils to use the skills in a problem solving and often real life problem.
This Halloween mystery requires students to use ratio to find the siblings share of chocolates, candies and money from their trick or treating! Print on card to use time and time again.

GCSE 9-1 Equation of Tangents to Circle (Question Grid Worksheets)
This question grid has two levels, the first level each circle has a centre of (0, 0) and level 2 is more challenging with different circle centres and pupils need to find the Tangent to the circle at a given point. This is relevant for the new GCSE 9-1 UK specification.
Pupils will choose which level to work out and they select a square and answer that question.
It can be played as a competitive game such as ‘noughts and crosses’. Pupils answer on their sticky-notes or in their colour, claiming the square. The first pupil to answer three questions in a row (correctly) is the winner. See our blog post here about similar ideas here.

This is a collect a joke activity which requires pupils to collect the words to collect the Halloween Joke “What do you get if you divide the circumference of a Jack-o-Lantern by its diameter?” and the punchline “Pumpkin Pi”!
Pupils start where indicated, make a note of the letter in the middle of the row (cross it out to keep track) and then work out the answer to the question below. They then find this answer on the top row and again make a note of the letter underneath, thus forming the joke and punchline.

This resource covers the topic of solving inequalities. There are four different worksheets (A-D) each of differing difficulties, so pupils can be given progressive sheets, or one used on learning, one on review, alternatively pupils are given the worksheet most appropriate to their ability.
The four versions are
Worksheet A; This worksheet involves 10 questions on solving one step linear inequalities
Worksheet B; This worksheet involves 10 questions on solving two step linear inequalities.
Worksheet C; This worksheet involves 10 questions on solving compound (double) linear inequalities.
Worksheet D; This worksheet has 10 questions which cover all the above style questions covered in worksheet A, B and C.
Solutions are provided along with additional activity in which pupils are asked to represent the correct answer on a numberline.

Ideal for GCSE Foundation and Higher, pupils must compare fractions decimals and percentages by converting to the same form. Questions start with ordering decimals and move to comparing well known fractions, decimals and percentages with increasing difficulty.

Exact trig values is new to the GCSE 9-1 specification. This resource is to support pupils in providing summary notes or a revision resource. This resource has been updated and there are now four folables in this download; covering different aspects to do e=with exact trigonometric values and trig graphs. The four foldables cover;
Exact Trig Values; Pupils use the two triangles (one right angled and one equilateral) to determine the exact trig values using SOH CAH TOA. They will also need to use Pythagoras’ theorem to find the length of the hypotenuse.
Trig Graphs: Pupils are required to recall and sketch the graphs of sin, cos and tan from -360° to 360° on the given axis.
Exact Trig Values >90°; pupils use the exact trip values from the two triangles and use to calculate carefully chosen trig values e.g. sin 210°.
Using Exact Trig Values; pupils use the trig values to complete sums of different trig values (therefore pupils need to be able to add/subtract fractions).
Foldables can be used as a revision or summary exercise at the end of a topic. As the answers are hidden pupils can use these to ‘test’ themselves or ask someone else such as a parent to test them.
I have included an A4 version for UK printers and a let

This resource covers the topic of ratio, including sharing a given amount and given partial information such as person B receives x more etc. There are five worksheets; four tick or trash worksheets and one independent worksheet task. The five worksheets are described below.
Worksheet A: This has 10 tick or trash questions on sharing amounts in two and three part ratios.
Worksheet B: this has 10 tick or trash questions on ratios where the original amount is not known and instead told what one element of the ratio is worth.
Worksheet C: this has 10 tick or trash questions on ratios where the original amount is not known and instead were told more or less information.
Worksheet D: This has 5 questions with a mixture of above.
Worksheet E: This is an independent task worksheet with four questions for pupils to solve.
