Everything you need to deliver 9 Science practical activities in Year 8. Three Biology practicals, three Chemistry practicals and 3 for Physics. Easily adaptable and suitable for Year 7 and 9. Some would also be suitable in GCSE. The slides for each activity include the apparatus needed, method and results. I have been using most of these activities in KS3 for several courses now and they work very well, they are one hour long approximately. They can also be performed as demonstrations. Proper use of the microscope. Growing bacteria. This is one of my favourite activities because they enjoy it a lot. Virtual experiment on disease transmission. This simply follows a video in the Cambridge Hub where you can find many others that can be used for distance learning or if labs are not available. Temperature and solubility. This power point presentation follows the 9700 AS Biology Syllabus by CIE and the endorsed book by Jones, Fosbery, Taylor and Gregory (5th edition).
