‘In The Zone’ is a Therapeutic and Fun Card Game that Empowers Young People to Take Charge of Their Thoughts, Actions, and Emotions. It enables you to explore resilience with young people in a fun and interactive way. Based on the Zones of Regulation, it has been developed to support conversations and interactions that help young people to regulate their emotions and change their actions to better suit situation. Playing the game will also strengthen the bonds and relationships between them and their friends. Instructions: Print these pages on card or thick paper Cut out the pieces Play the game in groups of 3+ Turn cards face down Take turns in revealing a question and asking the group Give the card to the person whose answer you connect with the most First person to collect three cards wins!

Lesson 6 in the Zones of Regulation series - a method of supporting young people with their social and emotional health through teaching them strategies to regulate their behaviour. This is lesson 6 in a series of 6, each lesson designed to last for one hour each. This lesson explores the size of the problem and how students responses to problems should match the size of the problem in front of them. It explores why students can sometimes over react to a small problem and teaches how to put problems in perspective. These resources are easy to use, detailed and can be ammended to suit your needs. Useful for any subject, but particularly PSHE or Tutor Time. Zones lessons would work with upper KS2, KS3 and KS4. This Black History Month Bundle moves you beyond the basic ‘assembly’ and allows you to support your curriculum with a diverse story plus activities. Daddy and Me is a book that provides a positive representation of a Black father - this can be challenging to find in children’s literature. The original picture book and activity book are available on Amazon for £7.99 each so this bundle represents a significant saving. The accompanying resources are great for free flow and have also been specially adapted for use in the classroom enabling you to photocopy activity sheets easily for your pupils. Students select a statement that they believe to be true about the topic of original sin. If students are correct the square reveals a star. If they are incorrect the square reveals a wipe-out.
