Meeting the spec requirements for AQA A level Physics 3.9.1.1. This is an introduction into the ray diagrams of converging lenses. It covers all the theory for pupils to be able to draw their own ray diagrams with worksheets. the PowerPoint is designed to lead them through each process and is fully animated to show steps with full descriptions. This theory is then used as a lead into telescopes and uses of two lenses.

AQA Physics: 4.1 Energy Quiz
Want to quickly and easily review a chapter of the AQA Physics specification?
Want to be able to lead pupils to a targeted revision list to enable them to close their gaps?
This revision resource consists of a range of questions across the specific specification points. There are a minimum of two questions per spec code. The specification document has been closely used to guarantee the correct use of terminology and phrasing.
This leads to pupils then self-marking after each sub topic. This will consist of them marking and noting the identified spec code in a WWW or EBI list.
Once the quiz is completed they will then follow the instructions to create their own personalised review of the full quiz and self-generate their personalised revision list by specification name using the supplied list.
This activity is 1-2 depending on the depth of revision time you allow the pupils though these tasks can be class or homework.
Lesson plan included.

AQA Combined Science All Specification Review: Foundation Physics Paper 1
If you’ve ever wanted to be able to guarantee that your pupils are reviewing all areas of the course, then this resource should help. The “All Spec Review”
(I have a free resource for Foundation Biology Paper 1 that will enable you to see what this pack contains)
Before a full paper is completed by your pupils you will likely revise the different chapters within the assessment paper. But how do you check they understand or how do they?
This questions pack contains past exam questions that meet every specification point for the tier and paper being reviewed.
I have analysed every question from every past paper to collate which question meets which specification points. From this analyse I have put together a question pack that the pupil can work through that is guaranteed to cover every specification point at least once, if not a few times. Using AQA exam timings these booklets contain at least a couple of hours of work. Broken down with revision, or completed open book, this could be many hours of work in class or at home.
This resource contains a PowerPoint slide to put up that has the breakdown of question versus spec point. It then has a teacher version with questions, markscheme and examiner report and a pupil version with just questions. At the start of the pack there is a review table for the pupils to keep track of questions and specification points they are strong or weak in.
Hope this helps and builds to a full review of everything needing to be covered.

Physics Foundation Paper 2 Revision and Advance Information Exam Support
Now that the “Advance Information” has been released by AQA I have put together an AQA exam question revision and assessment pack following the “major focus” list. This is themed so that it can be uploaded, completed and reviewed independently by the pupils as the mark scheme and examiners report are included. Or it can broken down to be completed in class over a few lessons. The pack is approximately 2.5-3 hrs worth of questions using the AQA times.
The booklet starts with a review front sheet which lists all the specification points being reviewed. There is then a spec point break down and two questions per focus. One question followed by a more challenging one. It then ends with required practical themed questions.
Each question has a place to record scores and review through a WWW and EBI list. There is then space for self review/feedback.
