This presentation was designed for a very successful interview lesson. The diagrams are animated and there are lots of AfL questions. A complete lesson of notes and questions on combining resistors in series and parallel. Very carefully laid out slides - recapping from GCSE, deriving the series and parallel formulae, example calculations and a worksheet with answers provided.

A simple and very interactive way to introduce distance-time graphs. Challenge students to act out each of four graphs as the timer moves across. You will need to mark out an 8m stretch of classroom for them to move along. I use a high score table adding each competitor in turn. Animated correct answers are supplied as well as an embedded worksheet - a fun consolidation task.

A carefully animated model for current and voltage. Current is represented by soldiers running along wires, voltage is the chocolate bars (energy) they transfer. The presentation contains an entertaining starter, a quiz and worksheets with answers to review learning. I have found the model to be very effective with a huge range of ability levels from year 7 to year 12.

Atomic diagrams and the scattering diagram are enhanced with animations. A starter is included to test and recap learning on atomic symbols and isotopes. The presentation has a link to a suitable Youtube clip. The end of the presentation has questions (& answers) on the analysis of Rutherford’s experiment.

An A-level Physics lesson on sampling waves. Originally used for OCR Advancing Physics unit 3. Contains an iPad sampling task, a paper-based sampling activity, five pages worth of exam questions with hints and worked answers. The process of sampling is carefully explained using clear animated diagrams. Exam questions cover equations for bit rate rate and signal:noise ratio.

An exciting A-level lesson on pixel resolution. Originally used for OCR Advancing Physics Unit 1. Contains an animated introduction to resolution, a very carefully worked example, an introductory starter quiz and ten pages worth of differentiated exam questions with answers and explanations. Useful for computer science too.

Very competitive, fast paced and really fun - my students favourite type of quiz. An interactive whiteboard quiz for two players answering questions simultaneously on each side of the IWB.
