Hello Amazing Fellow Educators! I´m Danicka. I graduated with a teaching specialization in French as an Additional Language from the University of Toronto in June 2022. I am currently an IB French Teacher for the Middle Years and Diploma Programs. I bring extensive experience in teaching French to diverse learners. This peer activity can be used as an activity or formative assessment tool in your classroom to promote your students´ debating, collaboration, and oral communication skills by having them share various perspectives and insights on specific debate topics or inquiry-based topics. Two activity ideas are provided with clear instructions on the document for students with different ability levels (ex. the “Extra challenge” activity would be more appropriate for students with a higher level of English and who have learned about how to effectively use counter-arguments.)
