Algebra - Number Sequences (5 of 5)
Lesson plans, worksheets and slides for running two lessons on sequences. These were written for Year 6 but can easily be used in other year groups as well.
The worksheets have written with mastery in mind and so follow the following structure:

Fractions of Amounts Multiple Choice Quiz Cards
This resource includes 300 multiple choice questions for finding fractions of amounts that can be used as quiz/ flashcards with children in a number of different ways.
There are 75 pages with 4 question cards per page. These all include finding a fraction of an amount and deciding from 3 options which often include potential misconception answers. The questions also cover a wide range of maths topics including:
Times table facts
Dividing numbers by 10
Equivalent fractions
Finding the whole
These are supplemented by ‘standard’ fraction of amount questions including unit fraction amounts and non-unit fractions. Answers are included for all questions.
These cards can be used in a number of ways including:
Lesson activity when working on finding fractions of amounts
Retrieval style activity
End of unit check
Homework
Answers can easily be photocopied with the correct question sheet to form 2-sided flash cards so children can quiz each other with ease and provide instant and accurate feedback.
Year 3 Multiplication (2-digit by 1-digit) Double Lesson (Compacted method)
A double lesson that focuses on introducing 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication for children in Year 3, using the compacted method having previously been taught partitioning to support with this. Included is a lesson PowerPoint that includes arithmetic starters, activity task and challenge tasks which both also include answers.
Year 5 Place Value - Comparing Numbers to 100,000 and 1,000,000 (4 lessons)
Two sets of double lessons for Year 5 place value, with one double lesson focusing on comparing the place value of numbers up to 100,000 and the second double focusing on comparing the place value of numbers up to 1,000,000.
Included in each set of lessons is a double lesson PowerPoint which starts with an arithmetic starter for each lesson (based on key Year 4 objectives they would have focused on). The first lesson then includes a number of teaching points which are then recapped as part of the second lesson.

Year 4 Area - Make Shapes Lesson
A fully resourced measurement (area) lesson for being able to make shapes using squares to create a set area in different ways in Year 4 based on the objective from White Rose Maths.

Calculating Volume Worksheet (Year 6)
A set of three differentiated worksheets that work on calculating volume for Year 6 children. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for two days lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets.
