A Christmas style maths worksheet that provides a variety of questions for being able to identify the value of a letter as part of an algebraic equation in two-step calculations (e.g. 3c + 7 = 40 or 4c - 8 = 32) but using Christmas related images for Year 6 based on the White Rose Maths objectives but that can easily be used in other year groups. Included as part of the worksheet are six different questions that provide variation to check understanding through the use of different question types. There is also an extension task that provides challenge with a further 4 questions. Answers are also included for all questions. This worksheet can easily be used as a worksheet when teaching the objective or used for recap/ revision or even to be sent home as homework as a fun Christmas activity.
