Covid-19 - GCSE Biology - Infection and Disease - CORONAVIRUS REMOTE LEARNING PACK

(10)
Remote / home learning pack for the entire Infection and Disease GCSE AQA Biology topic. (Thought this would be a very topical and interesting thing to learn about given the relevance of it in the current situation we are in) Instructions included for teacher setting the work. Work emailed out or uploaded onto Google classroom or whatever is equivalent for you. Includes a starter YouTube clip, some comprehension and then recall and exam questions. Mark scheme included for students to self-mark their answers too. Work could be submitted as a Google doc/emailed/ on paper and picture taken. I hope this comes in useful for you in this challenging period we are in.

Powerpoint for 5.1.1 Communication and Homeostasis - PAG 11.2: “An opportunity to monitor physiological functions in ectotherms and/or endotherms.” I use this for the required practical (PAG) lesson after teaching about ectothermic animals. So I’ll explain what Daphnia are and the overall methodology of the investigation, along with showing the students some videos and then let them do the practical.

Tulving's 'Gold' Memory Study - Brain and Neuropsychology GCSE AQA Psychology (9-1 new spec)

(0)
Simple and straightforward lesson on Tulving’s ‘gold’ memory study (a key study) from the new GCSE AQA Psychology spec. Includes an exam question starter activity and a key study diamond (foldable activity) to fill in the study. Does require the use of pages 164-165 of the AQA GCSE Psychologt textbook. (A handout of the study which includes the aims/methodology/results/conclusion/evaluation will do however).
