All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I find some free coding to create a new type of activity and then find some suitable content. Any content can be adapted to any activity. All I need is feedback and requests.

The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2024/07/formation-of-universe-appearing.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com This is a new concept so any feedback would be very welcome. Following on from [appearing pictures with questions] I wondered if the same format could be used to give learners information. I found that the greatest advantage was that once you had a number of facts in the labels with relevant pictures, subsequent facts and pictures could be added and slotted in at the appropriate position. By highlighting specific words, explanations as to their meanings could be given making the understanding of the topic more thorough. This might be an appropriate activity for catch-up, revision or consolidation. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH. They are created as TEMPLATES for you to adapt and add your own content. The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated. They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular. As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic. Most of the activities are aimed at UK National Curriculum KS1 and KS2. Contact me at : learnanytime@gmail.com

The quiz element is just differentiation or extension possibilities. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. This simple coding allows a picture to be dropped into a frame which makes up a row, the rest of the row being a series of words which make up a sentence, the picture representing the homophone. The coding allows this TEMPLATE to be used for any sentences to include a picture whether it be an English, science, history, geography topic or project. The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2023/12/idioms-connecting-text-and-text-meaning_7.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com An idiom is a phrase that, when taken as a whole, has a meaning you wouldn’t be able to work out from the meanings of the individual words. In this simple activity learners have to try and match an idiom with the correct meaning. To help the learners understand this concept if they correctly match the pairs the “meaning” will turn yellow, if not it will turn red. It means that learners can move the “meanings” around until they match the correct pair. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. By creating “pictures” of written text it makes things simpler to adapt previous activities. I have created this one using the o’clock time with a clockface, written time, digital 1 and digital 2 to cover the 24 hour clock. This activity covers 1 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 0’clock.
