Create a Christmas Advert - End of Term Lessons!
A sequence of activities that can be spread over 3-5 lessons, which are perfect for a fun end of term Christmas treat! The first 1-2 lessons focus on analysing the John Lewis Monty the Penguin Christmas advert, focusing on tone, message and mis-en-scene. Students then have the chance to design their own Christmas advert which can then be presented or performed on your last lesson.
Resources are fully adaptable and can be used for both key stage 3 and 4 students.
Builds analytical skills, includes some media terminology, facilitates oracy and group work and builds to a creative project.
