GCSE style text with questions in English. This an edited down version of the AS level text I also uploaded.

Reading comprehension. A text in which two teenagers talk about their plans for next year's holiday, followed by a GCSE style comprehension exercise.

A number images of school uniforms from various countries for students to describe and comment on. Also one suggested seventies-style 'teacher uniform' for them to describe and comment on, and which begs the question for further oral work 'Sollten die Lehrer eine Uniform tragen?'

Four short texts in which various movie characters describe where they live and where they have lived. Text is followed by richtig / falsch / nicht im Text questions in German.

Three texts of increasing sophistication, ghost-written by characters from a reality show. Students have to evaluate the texts and give a NC level to each one. They then have to re-write one of the texts to improve the NC level. There are then two more written tasks to complete

Fairly challenging text about the history of one of the oldest olympic disciplines. The gaps are all verbs in a variety of tenses. Will work on PC or IW.

TOOLKIT for reinforcing word order with WEIL and OBWOHL, for generating sentences to describe FAMILY and FRIENDS etc, and for the practising of key adjectives relating to CHARACTER and PERSONALITY.

Interactive multi-choice activity, practising various grammar points within the context of leisure / free time. Will work on PC or IW.

This interactive activity will randomly select 10 jobs from an embedded list of fifty and create a match-up exercise to be completed against the clock. You can use it repeatedly and it will never quite be the same activity twice.

Short texts in which school pupils express the likelihood of their going into the sixth form versus looking for training or employment, followed by comprehension questions in English, a 'Find the phrase' exercise and a text manipulation exercise. (The original four texts are from Lernpunkt Deutsch 3, but the two texts featuring authentic German handwriting have proved to be too hard to read for many of my students so I've typed them up!)

Text in which a teenager compares Berlin to the Baltic resort of Damp. The text is followed by a comprehension activity, a find-the-phrase activity and a manipulation exercise.

Question and answer activity. There activity contains a numbered sequence of questions to be asked, and a bullet pointed list of answers to choose from. Students could be expected to answer (i) using only answers on the sheet (ii) an answer on the sheet plus an additional statement of their own devising (iii) an answer on the sheet plus two additional statements of their own devising.

Three speaking activities based on an image of a vaguely futuristic Berlin: (i) A Where's Wally? style observational activity (ii) a memory and writing activity and (iii) questions for discussion.

A playscript featuring lots on furniture and prepositions. The script is followed by a sequence od activities in which students have to deduce the patterns following the prepositions and then apply their deductions to the creation of new sentences.

This is an edited version of Kiffen und Komasaufen, which I uploaded previously. This version has been altered to suit the needs of my AS class. The text is followed by a richtig/falsch/nicht im Text exercise, questions in German, a 'find the phrase' activity, a translation into German of English language data regarding the situation in the UK, and a writing activity in which students must then compare and contrast the data from both countries.

A GCSE-type article ranking the top 10 environmental concerns of EU citizens, followed by questions in English.

This a version of a resource I've already uploaded. It focuses on gender and the change in masculine articles in the Accusative. Instead of the 'Family' vocab in the other version, this one features vocab from 'Der Hobbit' and was made to help some Tolkien fans in my year 9 FL2 class to have a rudimentary conversation about the film.
