This lesson covers the formation spits and bars. The resource links clearly to the Hodder text and ensures that students also focus on integrating actual examples of a spit, tombolo and bar. The emphasis is on applying processes to formation rather than a simple chronological description. The power-point guides students through the process but the sheet is self explanatory and little teacher input is required. This resource can also be used as revision activity for Year 13.
