Gave to my Y9 GCSE French.\n\nDifferentiated worksheets - I let them choose which one they wanted to do. There isn't much difference between the two - just an extra gap fill on the higher.\n\nPlus a writing frame for the last activity

Spanish PowerPoint based on the popular app.\nStudents are shown four pictures and have to guess the word from the letters below. To go alongside PP60-61 of Listos 2 Rojo\n\nPowerpoint:\nIntro to places you can visit using 'hay&'\nMemory game\nTranslation\nWriting\nIntro to &';se puede(n)' plus infinitive\nReading\n\nVocab golf:\ndo this at start and end of lesson. Students give each word a score depending on how well they know it and add up these scores. Students give each word a score depending on how well they know it, then add up these scores. Interactive weather display in French and Spanish.\n\nColourful cards with images and both the French and Spanish sentence \n\nLaminate and cut out the cards then stick velcro on the back. Students can change this each lesson depending on what the weather is like.\n\nHope it's useful!

Students have to guess the TV programmes. I found out what the Spanish call each of the programmes instead of translating them directly so you will need to explain this to the students. I used this as a starter with my Y10s and it seemed to go down well! Hope it's useful Dannielle
