Jobs and sectors KS2 PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the resource is suitable for use across KS2. In this lesson, the students will explore the different jobs and careers that people can do over their lifetime. We will look at different jobs sectors and the ways that jobs and careers are often categorised. We will discuss the reasons why people often change their job or career and the role of education and qualifications in affording people a range of opportunities. The lesson also includes an information sheet, a video clip task, a jobs and sectors puzzle task, a career fact file activity and a plenary.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.

2 HOURS, fully resourced PSHE lesson all about role models, current social media influencers and the positive and negative influence they can have. The lesson follows a girl called Shelly, who wants to look like her idols, the Kardashians, before investigating more thoroughly the link between role models and self-esteem. A large part of the lesson investigates the lack of positive role models for young people in the media and sets students the challenge of establishing what makes a positive role model, before researching whether they can find celebs and public figures that meet their criteria.
This resource pack includes a 2 hour long PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets, well differentiated activities, literacy focus tasks, clip tasks with three-way differentiated questions and information sheets.

A 90 mins - 2 hours fully-resourced PSHCE lesson all about the importance of critical thinking and being able to spot and debunk fake news. Students will begin by studying a dubious social media post, before learning all the skills and new terminology they need to take it apart, analyse it and be critical of it through comparison with a variety of credible sources (included).

Perfect to combat Andrew Tate fad - Toxic Masculinity vs Positive Masculinity - an hour long, fully-resourced, detailed and differentiated PSHE lesson, created specifically for the new PSHE + RSE 2020 guidelines. The lesson covers how toxic masculinity affects both males and those around them, from their emotional health to their confidence levels and outlook on life. There is a big emphasis on the positive aspects of masculinity too and these can be embraced and used to live happy, out-going lives achieve success without treading on others, as toxic masculinity does.

**Same but different KS1 Diversity PSHE lesson. **
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, with some small alterations the contents may also suit younger KS1 students (Year 1).
In this lesson, the students will be discussing diversity and what it means to be unique. We will look at a variety of ways that we can be the same as, and different to others. We will also discuss the reasons why it’s good to be different, and how beneath the surface we often find similarities with people who may initially seem to be very different from ourselves.
The lesson includes a starter activity, a video clip with questions, a main activity that features Karl Newson’s story ‘The Same but Different Too’, and a ‘find someone who’ plenary task.

Friendship boundaries PSHE lesson. A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the contents of the lesson are suitable for students across KS2.
In this lesson, the students will be introduced to the concept of friendship boundaries. The students will discuss personal boundaries in the context of what is appropriate in friendships. We will reflect on a number of scenarios including bossiness, telling embarrassing stories, taking other people’s belongings, overstaying your welcome and respecting personal space.

NEW 2024 - One hour lesson introducing the concept of budgeting with all the templates needed for students to create a working budget plan. Students will first discover what budgeting, sources of income and outgoings are, before investigating why it’s important to budget and studying a sample budgeting plan from an average teenager. Finally they will create their own. Includes lesson plan.
This has been created to best suit KS3, but could easily be used with KS4 and is entirely editable. It covers the DfE and PSHE Association guidance for 2020-24 and will last you one hour.

Students will investigate how our reliance on such products contributes to lifestyle diseases such as type 2 diabetes and is linked to certain cancers. Students will discover healthy alternatives, creating a weekly meal plan, designing warning labels for ultra-processed foods, completing clip tasks, creative tasks, debate tasks, literacy-based tasks (should ultra-processed food be banned?) and much more.

My body belongs to me KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older students.
In this lesson, the children will learn about different kinds of touch, and the way they make us feel. We will discuss wanted and unwanted touches including kisses, cuddles, and hand-holding, as well as unkind or aggressive forms of physical contact.
The students will read Your Body Belongs to You by Cornelia Spelman, before completing a set of activities linked to the text. The students will learn the correct way to respond to unwanted touches, with a particular focus on the ‘swimwear’ unsafe touch safety rule.
The lesson includes a case study starter, a story with accompanying questions, a set of case studies, and a ‘wanted poster’ plenary task.

Suitable for KS3/KS4 and taken from the new EC Publishing Complete PSHE Package, found at the EC Publishing website.
Activities have three-level challenges for each task, there is a detailed and colourful PowerPoint, an information pack, clip tasks with questions, source pack, lesson plan, clear measurable LOs and also literacy and partnered activities.
