Tougher: Students also replace the boring ‘The’ sentence starts. Toughest: Students change the structure of the sentences and add in similes and a full range of punctuation.

The reading response sheet should work with any reading/comprehension response to a text where students are expecting to answer in PEE style paragraphs. The writing response sheet should work with any task in which students produce a creative response. The 20 targets are differentiated - starting with the basics before moving on to higher skills.
