Play Notes on the Ocarina A music activity to help children to learn to play the notes on an ocarina. Each slide shows a different note and explains how to play that note. The notes have all been given names to help children to remember them. The final slide shows children how to play the first line of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star using the Ladybird Ocarina notes. Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star A music activity to help children to learn to play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the ocarina. The children first practise playing the different notes with each note having a name to help children to remember them. Children then practise playing the first line of the song on their ocarina, then the first two lines followed by playing the next two lines and then playing the whole song. Sentence Writing Intervention A sentence writing booster/intervention that can be printed off to create a booklet of activity worksheets for Early Years and Key Stage 1 children who are struggling with writing. The PowerPoint covers five weeks and introduces children to 35 of the 100 high frequency words/hfw. Each week covers reading the focus high frequency words, writing the focus words, cutting and sticking words to make a sentence and then writing a dictated sentence. I have used this activity to encourage children to write sentences with capital letters and full stops and to hold and repeat the sentence in their head. The intervention helps children to gain confidence when they are writing sentences. HFW Reading Intervention A reading intervention that covers 100 high frequency words/HFW. The words are split into 13 sets with five activities for children to complete for each set. The activities are - read the words, find and colour the star words, match and colour words starting with upper and lower case letters, read the sentences including hfw and use the picture to fill in the missing word and read the sentences and draw a picture to match the sentences. Please note that the sets do not contain equal numbers of words due to needing to construct sentences that make sense. Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children.

**A set of three complete Maths lesson for counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. ** Each lesson shows children how to count in twos, fives and tens. Children then practise counting in twos, fives and tens, identify missing numbers counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and count sets of objects in 2s, 5sand 10s. Each lesson includes differentiated worksheets and a plenary. Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children however could be used as a recap or booster session for Year 2 children.

Making 10 Activity Worksheets A set of 8 different Maths activity worksheets to practise making 10 covering bar models, part whole models, adding using objects and word problems. These sheets focus solely on number bonds to 10. They also give children the opportunity to practise recording number sentences. I have used these as worksheets during Maths lessons plus have also laminated the different sheets for children to use during choosing time or early work. Making 10 Activity Cards A set of Maths activity task cards for making 10. The set includes 6 number bond activities for making 10 including using a bar model, part whole models, addition and word problems. These cards can be used as part of a number bond Maths lesson or could be used during choosing time for children to practise number bonds to 10. The activity cards also give children the opportunity to practise recording number sentences. These cards can be laminated so that they can be used again. Number Bonds - Making Ten PowerPoint A number bonds activity for making 10. This Maths activity can support children to learn and practise number bonds to make 10. The activity shows children all of the different number bonds for making ten. Each number bond has a word problem eg I have ten dogs, 5 of them are playing in the garden. How many dogs are in the kennel? Children can solve these problems using objects and pictorial representations and record their number sentence on their whiteboards. Activity could be used as a whole class activity or in small groups. Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children however could also be used as a recap or as part of an intervention group for Year 2 children.
