Recording doubles using numicon
Use it as an extension activity when teaching about doubling and recording addition.

Phonics sound mat linking Letters and Sounds and Jolly phonics actions.
Suitable for Reception and KS1. The sound mats are really useful when children are writing as it not only contains the phonemes and graphemes but also the high frequency words for each phase within the Letters and Sounds document.

This forms a part of the White Rose Maths resource. It is for Autumn Block 2 Addition and Subtraction to 10.

Use this as a scaffold for writing a narrative based on the Jack and the Beanstalk story.

I used this with Year 1 children who were quite confident in recognising coin values and and counting on. Use the coins to make 10 and then have them record as number sentences.

This forms a part of the Spring Block 1 Addition and Subtraction to 20 from White Rose Maths. I created this to help my Y1s practice their ‘adding to 10’ first. Hope it is useful for someone else.

Tug of war game - numberline to 50
This resource is a variation of the ‘Tug of war game’ available on the Nrich website. The resource includes the Board and instructions on how to play the game.

Estimate numbers on a numberline to 50 worksheets
The worksheet includes different activity sheets to allow the pupils to consolidate estimating and identifying numbers on a numberline to 50. They can either write the numbers, draw it or cut out the pictures and stick in the correct place.

Number bonds to 20 worksheet
The worksheet has ten frames and counters to represent the systematic bonds to 20. Children fill in the numbers in the sentence frames and write the corresponding calculations.
