This lesson introduces students to physical descriptions (eyes, hair, tall/short, pretty/ugly) in Spanish so students can describe themselves and their friends/family. Lesson 2/5 out of Languages on a Plate’s second beginner module 1.2: Passions and Pastimes, which is centred around building on the basics for Spanish beginners (perfect for Year 7), and follows on from Module 1.1 All About Me, and more specifically, the first lesson in the series, “¿Qué haces en tu tiempo libre?”, which focused on hobbies and regular Present Tense conjugation.
This lesson reinforces students’ knowledge of regular present tense verb conjugation and verbs of opinion in Spanish, and teaches them vocabulary related to sports, plus the verbs “hacer” and “jugar” in the Present.
