This is a really fun and engaging activity. Children can be set the challenge to find as many words relating to Remembrance Day, as they can with these wonderful differentiated word searches. Want to save paper, why not print some for a group activity and laminate them so that you can use them time and time again. You could even give children a blank grid and challenge them to make their word search.

A wonderful storyboard template for the book 'Winnie at the Seaside'. Children could use this to retell the key events in the story, or why not ask children to create their own beginning or ending? This resource is differentiated allowing your LA and MA children to illustrate their ideas, while your HA can also note down useful words and phrases for each picture.

A great resource pack to support children in demonstrating that they can recognise and organise letters into the four letter families (curly caterpillars, long ladders, one armed robots and zigzag monsters). Included in this resource pack:
A fully animated PowerPoint, to support children in recapping their knowledge of which letters fit into each of the letter families.
Sticker sheet for each of the letter families (can be printed on paper and cut out and stuck into books). By sticking one of each of the letter family 'stickers' into thei8r books, children can then organise each of the letters into the correct family.
There is a selection of two letter mats available to support children in sorting letters into their letter families (non cursive and cursive).

A great versatile resource to introduce children to clocks and time. It could be used as a worksheet, where children can cut out the numbers and glue them in the correct place on the clock face. For a more durable resource, why not laminate the clock face and numbers and use Velcro so that children can build a clock face and make corrections easily. You could even give children the clock face with muddled numbers and ask them to reorder them.
This is a fantastic topic! This MTP is designed to cover a 3 week science unit within this topic, but of course it could easily be extended. Including on this learning journey is an outline of what to be covered in each taught session, complete with suitable Learning Question linked to the National Curriculum. This is a great introductory activity for the topic of Journeys. The differentiated worksheet encourages children to consider what they would need to pack for different journeys they may take.
A fantastic, tried and tested lesson. Using the intro PowerPoint explore what the life of a servant in a castle would have been like; you could even get children to role play so that they can get into character. Children can then have a go at writing a diary entry from the life of a servant using the beautiful differentiated scroll worksheets and the diary writing frame to help them. If you have any early finishers, why not ask them to draw a banquet table and use the food activity sheet to either draw their own food items on the table, or cut and stick from the sheet.
