The following activities will allow non-specialists to introduce digital video editing using the DMC cameras. The lessons give staff and pupils easy to follow guidelines to allow them to produce an advert.
Pupils will learn the skills of non-linear report writing and editing for a purpose. This can be taught across the curriculum and is an ideal opportunity for implimenting ICT as a key skill.
In this unit you will find out about the stages involved in business start up, including the different types of ownership, legal implications, business objectives and stakeholders.
You will develop basic knowledge of marketing, human resources; physical resources and costing a business start up. You will also learn about the importance of monitoring the quality of goods and services. You will also gain skills on financial planning, including start up costs, running costs, cash flow forecasting, break-even, profit and loss, balance sheets, budgeting and variance analysis.
The unit contains revision cards in a looping 3D environment with cards available in both English and Welsh. The resource may be used on an individual basis or as a class led activity it could be used as a game.
