Learning Box - Blaenavon World Heritage Centre & Blaenavon Ironworks
The ‘Learning Box’ is a teachers’ resource pack developed for the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre and Blaenavon Ironworks. It consists of a range of resources (including teachers' guide, topic webs and pupil worksheets) aimed at providing structure for visits and support for preparatory and follow-up classroom studies.

A resource that looks at the revolt of Owain Glyndwr. The unit considers the situation in Wales from 1282 and discusses the causes of the revolt. We have an insight into who was Owain Glyndwr and the period of the revolt at the beginning of the fifteenth century is looked at in detail. Towards the end of the work Glyndwr’s legacy is considered and it’s effect on present day Wales. The unit has been designed for any type of whiteboard but can be used to great effect using a digital projector.
