Planned to be delivered to students studying the AQA Specification A, but easily adapted for other exam boards. I have planned all content to be delivered during an intensive Easter School session, in which the aim is for students to understand the main content of the exam. There is a revision checklist, and some exam answer structure support included at the end of the powerpoint. Also suitable for a school VLE.

New spec 9-1. Introductory lesson looks at the definition of family and household. The starter activity is a quiz that builds up with one question every lesson. So by the end of the unit the starter will be an 18 question quiz. The idea is that the question is something they won’t know/challenging, that they will learn in the lesson. They then answer the same question each lesson, helping them to retain the information as it is repeated each lesson. The question usually focuses on a keyword. If you download please leave a review.

They consider other sources of authority that may provide more guidance in the modern day (prayer, visiting church, listening to their conscience). Students then pretend to ring into This Morning to answer a phone in question regarding if the Bible is out of date.
