BTEC NATIONAL LEVEL 3 UNIT 2: EXAM: Learning Aim A: Included in this bundle is everything needed to teach Learning Aim A of the exam specification. It includes a student work booklet that can be used for lesson activities, homework or prep/flipped learning. Lessons have varied activities, including exam practice with modelled answers, independent research tasks and comprehension style questions. This bundle also includes an exam mapping sheet with all previous exam question content, plotted on a table. A new scheme of work aimed at KS3 Y7. This unit of work will be a Chronology of Monotheism. Starting with Genesis, moving through Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Each religion will cover Key religious figures, information on their holy book and a rite of passage/religious practice. The aim of this unit is to compliment our GCSE curriculum in which we study Christianity and Islam. The learning journey for the unit is included. L2: Noah- looking at what covenant means, why Noah was chosen and ending with a newspaper article task with differentiated support.

I can identify how to avoid dangerous online situations I can inform students in Year 6 how to stay safe online Aimed at KS3, particularly Year 7. Lesson is 100 minutes long. Lesson doesn’t require any printing so is suitable for non-specialists and online learning.

We had time at the end of term to show the full film of Juno. We used this to teach students about pregnancy, but about the varying choices if a student was to find themselves, or their partner, pregnant. Students watch the film, discuss and create a leaflet. These resources are planned to support students with a walking, talking mock of the Component 2 PSA. This is not used with students who are sitting the PSA as you obviously cannot guide students through these tasks. Each bullet point of the task is explained and suggestions given with regards to which content to include. Students are talked through how to attempt each task, and then given the directed time to complete each task. This Walking Talking Mock is for the September 2023 release.
