This red card behaviour strategy can be adapted by any educational establishment to support the management of low level behaviour. The idea is that if students demonstrate low level behaviour they are issued with the first red card warning, if they do not address their behaviour they will be issued with a second red card behaviour warning, if they do not address their behaviour and a third red card behaviour warning is given, the pastoral support team are sent for to support with behaviour or remove the student from the lesson to enable Teaching and Learning to continue. If a third warning is issued, the student is issued with a department red card detention.
