My dear Reader, This lesson is the first one of a 3 lessons set; It looks at the crimes committed by Jack the Ripper between 1888-1891. It aims to have students matching general knowledge and original sources while developing their ability to answer a GCSE paper. All lessons have a same-model structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, and always understand where they are at in their learning: First slide (revision task-learning-date-word bank-previous lesson and next one-image to connect to the topic.) Second slide (learning objectives and a question on the main topic). Three tasks based on levels of difficulties. The third task is always writing matching the GCSE writing framework. The two first tasks are based on the investigation of the assassin’s traits. An extension task is always added at the end to ignite debate and boost the pupils understanding. This work should be ideal for a secondary class and is already set as slide show presentation. For any further query contact me at alepitirra@hotmail.it Regards Alessio
