I've just finished my Secondary PGCE in MFL in June 2019, so many of my resources will be put on to aid those who were in the same position as me! Hopefully in time, my resources will be catered to all! I hope to be useful for all those with many years of experience and inspire future teachers!

A detailed Powerpoint presentation introducing and practising detailed physical descriptions in French. Includes grammar explanations and exercises for example making sentences negative. Also, a reading comprehension, translation exercises and a “Guess who?” game. I attached also the jpg file that I printed for homework: my students had to describe their own wanted criminal :)

Ma semaine writing practice Buffy - French - Year 8

This PowerPoint was designed for my low-ability Year 8 group just before their writing test. The text tells about the typical week of Buffy, the vampire slayer. Pupils have to read, complete with the right verbs, and translate the paragraph, in order to keep a good example to follow. The starter is a translation of common phrases related to daily routine. Enjoy :)

Food La Comida y Me gusta Vocab Practice Activity - Comecocos Spanish

I grew up calling these “cootie catchers” or “fortune-tellers,” but these little origami games are fun for Spanish vocab practice! Includes: 2 different “comecocos” versions student instructions explaining how to play student answer keys for checking their partner’s work instructions for YOU on how to fold these things! Vocabulary is pretty universal–but it’s specifically geared for Avancemos 1 Unit 3.1. I’ve included editable versions of documents included so that you can make modifications. I’d encourage you to give it a try! It’s a hit with students, and not nearly so hard as it looks to put together.
