This is a complete lesson covering sections 5.2.1 d, e and f of the OCR Biology specification- the light dependent and light independent reactions (Calvin cycle). It starts by looking at photophosphorylation in general before the specifics of cyclic and non-cyclic versions and photolysis of water. It goes through a diagram offering students the chance to construct a Z scheme. There are then some summary questions before the light independent stage. It the covers the Calvin cycle including the number of turns required to make a sugar.
