Simultaneous Equations Super Sheet
This my attempt to create a sheet that ticks all the boxes.
The sheet includes:
Literacy section with key words and definitions
Write on the sheet starter
Lesson objective
(The above a set in a box to allow pupils to cut out and stick these into their book)
Three sets of questions to aid differentiation by task rather than outcome
A set of extension questions
Plenary questions to check understanding
Homework questions (differentiated)
Additional info on how to check if answers are correct and where this skill would be used in real life.
Coloured background and step by step instructions to help support SEND pupils.
This sheet is on solving a pair of linear simultaneous equations using elimination.
Easter Egg Hunt- Addition
An easter themed game. Pupils need to work out the answers to questions linked to squares on a map. If they find certain answers they have found an egg.
This could be done as a team or timed activitiy. There are 100 questions so it may be a little tough for pupils to complete this individualy. Offer prizes for students who find the most eggs.

5 harder number trials (4 ops)
Easy to use starter. 5 slides with 3 by 3 number grids. Students have to start at the top get to the number at the bottom using any of the 4 operations. Hints appear after a click. 3 puzzles on each grid.
Hope you find it useful
Volume matching cards and loop cards
A set of matching cards and loop cards on the volume of cuboids.
Hitting Math Level 1 Scheme
This is based on some I can statements for level 1 math and I made it for students in my main stream class
Plotting Quadratics Powerpoints
A powerpoint on plotting quadratics by finding coordinates
Area and volume revision
A powerpoint going over area of 2D shapes and volume of prisms.
Plotting curved graphs sheet
A sheet with tables to help pupils to find coordinates to plot quadratic and cubic graphs.
Algebraic Simplification Test
A little test on algebraic simplication, includes factorising, index laws and algebraic fractions
Conversion between units sheet
A little sheet I used as homework on conversion between metric units.
Lines Test
A test on plotting straight lines and quadratic graphs as well as solving simultaneous equations graphically.
Shuffled up sums starter
5 multiplication sums have been shuffled up, students need to put them back together. Answers come up, nice quick starter
7 Percentage Quizzes
A collection of multiple choice percentage quizzes; has multipliers; reverse percentage; percentage increase and decrease; converting fractions and decimals to percentages; and finding percentages mentally.
Multiplying and Dividing Fractions handout
A handout I made because my students either tried to simplify everything in sight or nothing at all. A series of questions where students are only asked to work out the ones which can be simplified before they answer the sum.
Find the mistake (negative multiplication)
10 questions where some are done incorrectly; students have to try to spot the wrong ones; answers at the end with a link so you can go back to the questions to talk about what has gone wrong.
Simple construction handout
A simple sheet I made for students to practise the compass constructions (prependicular bisectors and line, angle bisectors)
StatisticsInterpreting Pie Charts with Calculators
KS3 / GCSE Maths Activity. A powerpoint showing how to find frequencies from pie charts using a calculator, with some questions at the end. Hope you find it useful.
10 Number Trails Starters
A series of 3 by 3 grids where students have to find path from the top to the bottom, adding as they go, trying to reach the total at the bottom. Nice easy starter to use.
