A first lesson in an electricity topic aimed at Y7 pupils. Includes a presentation that includes a complete lesson: starter/settler, learning outcomes, notes on circuits, symbols and current in circuits, instructions on a simple investigation into circuits and current, review questions, introduction to circuit symbols, instructions on how to draw circuit symbols (with opportunity to model for pupils) and an activity for pupils to draw their own circuit diagrams.

A (near) complete lesson on renewable resources. Pupils will write a letter to their MP advocating a solution to electricity supply to a town. Lesson includes: a full presentation and learning outcomes; a complete lesson plan; differentiated task sheets; information on the town for pupils to use in their decision, Quiz Quiz Trade cards for renewable energy. I also used a circus activity available on TES for pupils to research with, but ran short on time.
