As the students work through the unit they complete the passport to sum up what they have learned and add the information to the booklet. The passport also contains seven h/w tasks to be used throughout the unit.

This can be used as a stand alone lesson or as the introductory lesson in the Fantastic places SoW. It looks at the amazing India city of Hampi and launches an investigation as to why the city is surrounded by boulders. The students will investigate two ideas: Science and Religion and will need to explain why they believe one over the other. They will also be encouraged to create their own original explanation. A fun lesson with lots to do.
