Guided Reading - I Can Cards for Emergent Readers
These Guided Reading Cards can be used with groups of students when they are working with you during daily guided reading lessons.
I have used these cards with guided reading groups for many years and found that they are great for keeping the children focused on what they are learning.
At the beginning of the lesson, I read the card for the week with the students and talked about what it would look like when they were doing it. As the students read, I notice when they are demonstrating the skill and bring their attention back to the objective.

Alphabet and Blend Cards Learning Games
Knowing the sounds that letters make is the backbone of early literacy. Add these cards and games to your literacy program and see how quickly your students begin to learn their letter sounds and transfer it into their reading and writing.
You will find in this packet an A4-sized alphabet card with letters and fun images that start with matching sounds. The alphabet card shows lowercase and uppercase letters so children can learn to identify and match them.
The included A4 blend card shows double consonant blends with a matching image that starts with the blend. It also shows digraphs (in blue) and tri-blends in red.
This resource pack also contains suggestions for games and ways they can be used in the classroom.
Your kids will love playing the games, and you will be amazed at how quickly they learn their alphabet sounds and blends and start to apply them to their reading and writing.
This is a great resource for young children who are just beginning to learn letter sounds and blends. I have used it with my own classes over the years and have had great results. I hope your students enjoy it as much as mine do.
