I am a music specialist and the music I write is original, tested on children and for the less confident teacher. My aim is to provide you with everything you need to fulfil Topic requirements and those of the National Curriculum (without having to prepare anything.) I provide Power Points/videos and give you mp3s and lyrics. Notation is sometimes given. The instrumental parts are dead easy!

It is intended to be used with The Skye boat song and another song "The Ghosts of Culloden ". The former is available on the premium site with mp3s, video or a PowerPoint presentation. Both songs act as a wonderful starting point from which to enter this period of Jacobean history. They can be viewed on YouTube. The monks of Lindisfarne.Gregorian chants

PowerPoint works in conjunction with the videos in downloads..Using the Viking raids as a starting point, the PowerPoint looks at the chanting of monks from Benedictine to the modern Gregorians. Both videos are very soothing and can be played as a standalone resource before Assemblies or in a quiet time of the day. The work concludes with a little leaflet that is a response to the music. Mix and match! Web addresses to these source materials are included.

A self running PowerPoint with embedded sound files designed to help children make a connection with music then and music now. I have had it running as children enter assembly. Those doing Ancient Egyptians loved it .There is a small booklet to record their knowledge. The music will play when in slide mode You can also use it as part of your Egyptian topic. Pleas give me feed back as it took hours to make !
