For the first part, students interview each other with questions on what they did over Christmas vacation using the preterit tense. They will have to combine these elements and add additional words to create an original sentence of 9 words minimum for all the 15 verbs. This is a good classwork or homework assignment as students are being introduced to the preterit tense.
