How golden were the Stresemann years?
Edexcel GCSE history summary lesson on the Stresemann years. Includes a big overview colour code of the 1920’s under Streseman. This includes different interpretations of what people thought of the changes under Stresemann and how they experienced the impact of these changes. Also includes a practise 12 marker question with suggestions for factors. Can be used as a consolidation of my lessons on the Stresemann years 1923-1929.

International Women's Day Assembly/form time activity
A resource for International Women’s Day that is designed as an assembly but can be used as a form time activity too.
It aims to unpick what we mean by feminism and address some of the misconceptions. It also includes a story of Kathleen Roberts a ‘Woman of Steel’ from WWII. Later slides cover problems facing women and what we can do to help.

Segregation in America and Brown V BOE
A lesson on the segregation of American based on race under the ‘Jim Crow’ laws. I use the lesson as an introduction to a scheme of work on the Civil Rights movement. The lesson contains a case study of Brown V The Board of Education to exemplify how the African American community challenged the laws on segregation.

Quiz covering Component one and two as well as some more fun politics/current affairs round. There are six rounds: 1. Componenet 1; 2. Component 2; 3: What are they up to picture round; 4. This week in the news; 5. Higher or lower ages of MPs; 6. Obervation round (vid of Boris Johnson on top gear). This can be used for Y12 or Y13.
