The span of Easter school holidays hit the Gordon Woodlands Scottish Primary Schools Cross-Country Championships at Kirkcaldy High, Fife. The entry of 1,300 runners, including 10 sets of twins and one of triplets, from 157 schools was down on last year.
The triplets, all from Slamannan Primary, did well. Robert Inglis won silver in the senior boys’ race, sister Sarah bronze in the senior girls’ race and sister Mhairi was in the top 20.
